Prologue
The depth of a man's soul cannot be measured in a matter of meters or fathoms, but rather it is in my opinion only quantifiable by his proximity to heaven and hell.

Making his way out of the crater he'd found himself in after crash landing on this filthy planet, the small green bot surveyed his surroundings. Even for him, it was too dark to be able to see through the dense plant life. But that wouldn't stop him, oh no it wouldn't. Nothing, not rain, not organics, not even the Elite Guard would get between him and his revenge now.

Oh yes, he couldn't wait to see the look on the little Bumbler's face when he finally got his revenge. He wanted to see his optics filled with the same pain he felt when he'd had his Autobot logo, and his dreams ripped away from him.

"Wasp will find you, Bumblebot! Wasp swears it!" the insane bot screeched, purple optics flashing, "Wasp will not stop until Beebot's spark is as broken as Wasp's! Wasp will take everything if he has too!"

"Heh, is that so shorty?" a voice growled, mocking.

"Who said that?!" Wasp demanded, looking around with wide eyes, "Who is listening to Wasp?!"

"Don't worry, freak, we'll put you out of your misery soon," another voice growled softly.

"We are hungry...so hungry..." another rasped, and Wasp started to panic, large footsteps sounding everywhere around him by now. Whatever these things were, they had to be huge from the noise they were making.

"Come out and face Wasp!"

"With pleasure," the shadows moved, closing in on their prey. Dark crimson optics stared at him from every direction. No...no this wasn't possible...maybe the medic's had been right...maybe he was insane...yes...oh please, please let Wasp be insane...he thought.

The creatures broke through the final layer of plant life protecting Wasp from their presence. Teeth glistened, fur spiking in the dim moonlight. "Look, my friends...lunch."

After witnessing the sight before him, the Pit would've been a welcome sight.
